Casio is a brand known worldwide for their wrist watches and calculators. It has made a good market regarding many other products also, like , for example , cameras ! One such product by casio is their portable TV set. I have unscrewed the portable TV set to show the insides if it , the build of it and the product quality inside.
The photo above shows the LCD used in portable TV set. Its a well packed LCD with a ROD-back illuminator and not the LEDs.
This is the main chipboard with RF channel box visible.
Overall build of this board is very hi tech and quite upto worldclass standards.
Casio has made no compromise over quality in its making.
The processing and video control integrated circuits of the casio portable TV set are visible in the above photo . Though my TV set is very oldie one, still i didnt find any signs of corroding solder connections aroun the miniature contacts of the processor ! It maybe related to the humidity level of environment where i live , but i ll regard casio that they did the job well.
