While entering the paediatric medicine world, i was advised to have MDF paediatric steth by my friend in the USA. So i went for this one from www.medshop.pk .............http://www.medshop.pk/site/detail.php?product_id=11820003
It costed me rs.1300/- And i must say i have got a quality bargain for my money . Paediatric diaphragm of this steth really offers v good auscultation of babies' heart n chest etc. I selected transulent Red colour ,thinking that it may attract the attention of lil babies and kids ! And it worked ! Babies would forget their crying/moaning to see BRIGHT colours around n in the meantime you get enough time to get to the findings you are seeking during auscultation.
My Neutral review about this product is that if you are going to spend 4500/rs on popular brands for steths , then wait a while just spend rs 1300 on this paediatric steth and you ll get equally the same results , & a much better COLOUR RANGE to select from.
P.S I had got my steth delivered to my home on the second day after delivering the order :-) - I think i am falling for MDF instruments !
